Ladies League Cup 2025 Division 2 played on Thursday 28th August.

Held at Rykneld Bowls Club.

Spondon and Little Eaton Ladies competed for the Division 2 League Cup during a late summer downpour, but it did not affect the bowling standard or diminish the determination by either side.

​

After 45 minutes with the rain subsiding the Ladies adjusted well to the change in surface, with greens standing up well. Initially it was an even game played in great spirit but as the game moved on Spondon started to make gains and secured the result with a final aggregate score of plus 15. Wining 115 to 100 with 3 games each.

​

A good year for the Spondon Ladies who also achieved promotion to Division 1 for the 25/26 season after finishing runners up in Division 2 this year.

The League Cup Trophy was presented to Spondon by Mr Peter Cooke (Allestree) Chairman of Belper and Mid Derbyshire Bowls League.​​
